Ao's goal after getting her 3D was to become a great VR and 3D vtuber which is why she has so many interactables, she has researched a lot of 3D tech. She recently even got a new 3D tracking facial rig that can even do complex expressions like pouting and puffing her cheeks.
She also visited Ame's aquarium and talked about how she was inspired by her, she will carry on her legacy and become the next top VR mem of Hololive.

Yeah but they are all having themes. Sora might be the only one who's role was of only being an idol compared to the rest of Gen 0 and the rest of the company until REGLOSS. The theme for REGLOSS is that they are normal girls, just idols, to the point that even their designs are meant to showcase how casual they are as humans. Yes, Raden and Ririka are more extravagant than the others on their designs but it doesn't go away from the concept of being a normal human being compared to the rest of the generations. You have animals, aliens, robots, witches, demons, warriors of old past.
Even EN doesn't have a "normal" theme between their members. Myth is formed by mythological creatures, Promise is formed by beings given power at the dawn of the universe, Advent theme is pretty much Myth 2, just that their members were imprisoned and escaped, and Justice is Advent related as well, as the girls from Justice are meant to hunt down Advent.

Dev_is has more funding for idol activities than JP. JP is more or less "do what you want", it just happens that most of them are interested in idol activities. JP mems pay for their own covers, while Dev_is mem covers are partially paid by Cover. That's why ReGloss already had an original album on their first year while in HoloJP the members have to try significantly harder to do the same thing.
