| Another extended episode! About time, and this time around, yes, the OP does NOT play lmao. Starts off where we ended, with Emilia going to the church, and off the bat, I loved that scene with Sylphy breaking down after Emilia asked for her name, very sweet and a good scene imo. But they top it off with that scene with EVERY one of bro's wives giving off legit EVERY complaint they could list about bro they could lmao. But other than that scene, not a single moment was a happy one with the wives because seeing all of them making up their determination to suicide was... not happy, to say the least. I mean, the blood dripping down from Sylphy's arm is just... jeez. But hey, at least Emilia saved them in the end. But yeah, Regulus isn't too happy about what Emilia is doing to his wives OFC, but Emilia AGAIN EMBARRASSING this fool and attacks HIM lmao. And my poor guy Petelgeuse STAY catching strays from this bum bruh lmao. Moving away from the story for a second though, SAKUGA popped off this episode. I mean, that Subaru Invisible Providence was fucking insane. The impact frames were crazy, and even the OST and the framing of the scene were straight heat. And yes, YET AGAIN, EMILIA FUCKING UP AND EMBARRASSING THIS FOOL WITH HER HAMMER LMAOOOO. But Emilia AIN’T the only one with a moment to shine this episode. I mean, this dude Reinhard crashed down from THE FUCKING MOON LOL. Loved the OST during that scene as well. And yeah, this dude Regulus was at his breaking point, and Reinhard just broke it to the max and made this dude start YAPPING lol. Visuals and camerawork were great in that scene as well. And yeah, thank you, Reinhard, you did what we all wanted to do while this dude was YAPPING, and that's beating down on bro lol. Finally, at last, though, this dude is down for the count, AT LAST. Started to feel bad for bro near the end with all the beatings. At least his suffering is over. What an episode man. RIP Regulus, I guess. |

| lets go we got an extended episode this week Some LN Extra Details (Volume 19, Chapter 3.2-3.6, 5-6.5 ) - Subaru thought the other stars as his siblings and was annoyed that he had to share star names with vile people like the archbishops. - Subaru attacks and kites regulus with borrowed lesser spirit magic to stall for time - Regulus often fell into open air pitfall made by Subaru - Looking from this, subaru deduced that regulus never had other battle experience than a fair right which he will overpowers with his authority - One of the reason subaru persuaded emilia to leave battlefield because she is too honest and not suitable for this kind of dirty fight - Subaru was surprised his leg is even more sturdier than he thought, considering it is being torn off twice. - Subaru utilizes his parkouring skill and knowledge of kiting from video game on managing his range with Regulus - Subaru being cheered by the compassionate lesser spirit and was eager to help him further - Subaru is hard to believe that an authority that once taken a lot of lives can be used for saving lives instead, but he will still use it if it is possible, even calling it Unseen Hand this one time. - Emilia said she trust `both of you` and Subaru was confused on who she is talking about when he's proceeding on reaching her heart. But he quickly brushed it off to focus on things on hand. - This is the first time where Subaru has to concentrate so hard to use the Unseen Hand, and he paid the price by big pain in his inner organ and bleed quite a bit from his mouth. Differences from LN - Emilia rushing back to the chapel via iceskating magic - Subaru is hesitating a few times on several stages of using the Unseen Hands, but Emilia gave Subaru a final push by gently putting her trust on him. |

| Yet again White Fox absolutely cooked and did justice to the books. Absolute masterclass. Regulus pack in the air 😂 rest in PISS. All those years of abusing women paid back in full, with interest. Opening the episode with Emilia breaking Regulus’ hold on the girls was awesome. Koga Aoi as Sylphy was a perfect choice too, no one gives those impassioned speeches like her. That mix of fear and hatred and a desire to finally be free from Regulus hold.. she’s just an incredible seiyuu man. It’s funny how it only takes one person to stand up before everyone just falls in line and starts saying how they feel about that bum. How insecure must you be to force a group of people who hate you to be your docile wives. I love how Emilia has absolute faith in Subaru’s plan too, never even occurs to her he could even possibly be wrong here. Very fitting that after Regulus insulted Petelguese and called him a dullard, it’s his ability that breaks Regulus’ authority lmao. White fox fucking cooked with that scene. Arguably Subaru’s coolest ever moment, he’s no longer a defenceless person. Might not have Emilia’s magic, but he’s quite capable now. Seeing Emilia beat the ever loving shit out of Regulus was so satisfying man that was her coolest scene. Rierie as usual took the scene to the next level with a great performance. Reinhard!! Next time throw him at the sun, maybe that’d work 😂 . Seeing regulus get the same toss treatment he gave Reinhard was perfect. Even at the end he refused to accept his failings and blamed everyone else. Took his insecurities out on everyone else and got what he deserved. |

| You know it's going to be even more amazing when it's an extended named episode. This episode kept me on the edge of my seat for its entirety. It might be my favorite episode of Season 3 yet. Man, where do I even start? Everything from the music to the voice acting and the way the animation looks was fantastic. My favorite scene was when Subaru used Unseen Hand on Emilia. White Fox COOKED. The entire scene gave me goosebumps. And seeing Geuse with flashes of Season 2 gave me a hint of nostalgia. I can't believe Season 2 is already over 4 years old... Once again, the voice actors were amazing. Especially Aoi Koga as Sylphy and Akira Ishida as Regulus Corneas. Rie Takahashi's Emilia is just as amazing as always if not even better. | I can not imagine the kind of suffering that Reg's wives went through to be this loyal to him. But by convincing them to show their true feelings towards Regulas Emilia has freed them from hell. But man the determination of the wives to end Regulas even if it meant killing themselves really was impressive. In a way Regulas's heart is like a parasite. Nice to see Emilia get some payback though. Reinhard's come back matched well with his intro there. Curious to see how Reg would get back from that though. Still thats at least one front secured for the coalition. |

I imagined if the heart was a heart-heart, and Regulus just fell dead there, after having the it crushed, nothing more, just dead. And people reactions. |

| You know Re:zero is about to cook when the episode is nearly 30 minutes long and they skip the OP. And man, I’m equally amazed and impressed with how great this adaptation continues to be. What a satisfying conclusion to the conflict against Regulus. One of those villains where, you hate them to death but also love them because of how good of a villain they are. And with this guy, it’s as simple as: he’s just a shamelessly evil and irredeemable person. Sometimes people don’t like villains like that but me personally, I’m ok with the occasional villain who’s evil for evils sake without some kind of grand motivation that drives their villainy. I love what Emilia was able to do for the wives, finally freeing them from Regulus. I can’t even imagine the emotional catharsis she must have felt when she was beating the dog shit out of him 💀 And of course the boy Reinhard, dropping back in to deliver the final blow. I’m gonna miss Regulus but man he got entirely what he deserved and then some. Fantastic episode. |

| The animators really hates Regulus as they give him negative aura and not even care to fully explain his incredible ability and how Subaru figured it lmao. I mean its fine, but that didn't mean I had to go through so much Liliana. These aren't big flaws, but it slightly leaves me wanting... Key scenes are done very well, but subaru dodging Regulus attacks could have been better executed. They cut a lot of the final Regulus rant but I am not exactly complaining. Emilia and Subaru conversing in front of Regulus was a mixed bag with the conventional camera angles. Some S2 OSTs returning was great. FULL REGU RANT: It can’tbecan’tbecan’tbe. What the hell is this, I don’t get it. Why do I have to go through this. Who do you take me for. I am the Sin Archbishop “Greed” Regulus Corneas. The most satisfied existence in the world! The most indisputably asserted, an existence without any wavering aspects! It’s supposed to be like that, so why do I have to go through this?! Don’t mess around, this is no joke. Each and every one of them, what’s wrong with them that they accept such nonsensical absurdities as if they are a matter of course. That man, that woman, and that knight too, just because I showed a little mercy are getting too ahead of themselves, if I had been serious from the beginning then I could have had torn them apart in bits and pieces, but aren’t they misunderstanding their own power? That you can shamelessly make misunderstandings, that are from my point of view, hilariously wrong, is why I hate getting involved with others! I don’t need anything. Everything is just annoying. I am already satisfied. It’s not like I didn’t have it, I just didn’t need it. Unlike the intrusive scum, I’ve never needed anything. Despite that, giving me something, doesn’t that mean that from outside, from your point of view, that you looked at me and thought that I was a pitiful lacking existence. | This has got to be one of the most SATISFYING episodes in all of Re: Zero! And it's extended like in ep 7! At last, the impudent, selfish 5tgvand detestable corpse of a man, Regulus Corneas has met his maker. Subaru played out his role and succeeded in hypothesizing and pinpointing exactly the real inner workings of Regulus' invincibility in the previous episodes. This ep however is all about Emilia. How she managed to convince the wives to break out of their self-imposed state of monotone coldness akin to living dolls, and how Emilia found out one last bit about Regulu's authority. The way he parasitizes his wives' hearts with his disgusting impure heart via his authority. Fortunately, Emilia is a century-long expert at freezing bodies to near-death state and Subaru got that unseen hands he got from the authority of Sloth. And Regulus who was already backed into a corner is now truly fucked. Forget being backed into a corner, he's now stuffed into a ditch. The only heart he could rely on now is his own and what can a shriveled-up guy do when he's always relied on his overwhelmingly overpowered Authority of Greed all this time? Regulus got absolutely pummeled and smothered, the sound effects were juicy and mesmerizing, especially when he ran out of time as his body got crumpled deep underground, but what's truly amusing is that Reinhardt's blows were not what killed him, Given his OP authority, Regulus died in the most pathetic way possible. Drowning. And the cherry on top... As Regulus is dying, he is getting mad over Emilia rejoicing over having avenged Fortuna and Geuse when in reality, she didn't even really remember anything, her motives aren't as dead-brained as an act of simple revenge, but something grander of which Regulus in all his centuries being alive, will never realize. |

| Emilia was brutal with that kick to face and punches, thought was watching dragon ball for a sec there but man that was so satisfying. Emilia avenged Fortuna and Geuse. Reinhard though, my man bounced off the moon to come back, just built entirely different. The post credit scene was heart warming. Hoping the best for those girls. Btw loled when one of them mentioned she'd take a ground dragon over him lmao. Also they've been highlighting part of the kanji of the characters name. Wonder if they mean something when add up. |
