The opening is like Atreyu riding out for the Childlike Empress. He too encounters traumatic events while trying to protect his land and save his princess, however the traumas of the real world are so much more brutal. 'Sarah' means princess. When she walks from the sun, she is a vision of the Childlike Empress, surrounded in light and pure beauty. I think the video is so impressive because he is saved by his princess in the end, and it shows their ways of doing so. They are not just characters as Atreyu and the Childlike Empress, but are demonstrated as real people healing the the suffering of trauma together.

I really don't know what is the best thing. the sound is so captivating, the landscapes are simply breathtaking, the interactions in the couple or with the horse are just heart-warming... everything is perfect!

This is good song and the video is so beautiful... Younger audience may not see the 80's aesthetic here, but trust me, it is there. You don't need VHS effects or fast cars with neon lights to get that feeling; It's about editing and compositions, and those beautiful people... Thumbs up!

Wow, do not understand the negativity surrounding this one, to those of you not even from the 80's its a bit sad really, you think the 80's was neon and cocaine, this may be one of the happiest shorts ive ever seen, the partnership, the bond, the spirituality and togetherness. I cried at the end, i was so happy.
Some people can't handle their own emotions. 80's synth was some of the most emotional music ever made. This fits the bill perfectly.

I absolutely love the Native American theme of the video! Though I disagree with the negative comments, I can understand (some) of them. The music seems 'detached' from the video. As if it were a video for another song, where the music was simply replaced with what is here. I could honestly see this as a Tribe Called Red or DJ Shub video... but it just seems... disjointed with this song, as if the concept and editing were done before taking into consideration the music.
Better delete my commentary, it was constructive, but not welcomed. Understood.

This song reminds me of my earlier years when dad used to take me down to the local VHS video store and pick out some of his favorite movies from the 80s, The Thing, Blade runner, back to the future, aliens, terminator, raiders of the lost ark, The lost boys, Friday the 13th. laughing with my dad as he rented horror movies to old for me but we watched them anyways. god i miss those times. im glad theres channels that make music to this extent. thank you NewRetroWave. i really cant say it enough,this song really brought back some good memories.

I must apologize for all the Paul Allen's disliking the video because it isn't some flashy new Carpenter Brut song. The genre is so much richer and more vibrant than that. It covers darksynth, yes, but synthpop and more as well. It's about bringing back the elements of 80's culture and music that have been forgotten. Reverence for Native Americans, light poppy synth. This video screams 80s, and yet still has a timeless quality to it. Futurecop's Sarah (feat. Hunz) is very nice.

The song matches perfectly with the video. It's calming yet it's there's a tone that something is unsettling and it's hinted at, which also matches the song's vibe imo.
I like how there isn't too much happening in the video; long shots of the landscape and the only people you see are the couple and their horse. Also, I found the ceremony at the end where the wife tries to heal her husband beautiful and calming.

Love this track, its so hopeful. Really like the part with the eagle, like it is watching over them, and the couple look naturally in love and not acting it :) - but..it feels like 178 people have a sticker 'make America great again' on their car..
This video is so sweet, and absolutely has an '80s aesthetic. The sweeping "helicopter" landscape shots, the dead-center shots of people looking directly at the camera, the super simple story...I remember seeing so many videos with this feel when I was a kid. I was actually marveling at how nowadays someone accomplished such a quality video with likely a drone and relatively inexpensive equipment, and that's fantastic to me. Video fits the music perfectly, and as much as I love me some dirty cyberpunk vibes, this is a welcome break. :)

so, I should out from my idea of this sort of music and try to understand this. Its like you miss the feeling of a genre a bit. If you made some drama about life before and life after - this tune particular not for this, because this music a synthetic. actors are good.
Great song, video is great but doesn't visually match imo, unfortunately I could not find myself liking this video when met with the ethereal melodies from futurecop while combining the visuals to the music.
