Violetty: @darksithwas12: Forget 800+ it's now 8000+. Three months in and there are already 8K posts of AI ar. This is an insane amount in such a short time and I'm getting concerned...
bonerific: Most of the people making porn with AI are filthy lazy Indians aka pajeets aka curry munchers aka poos. We have outed them as Indians on multiple websites. Even on sites like Pixiv, nips have outed the AI posters as being pajeets. They are charging similar rates for commissions despite a robot doing all the work. It's really fucked up & the worst part is coomers & normies don't care. The prompters are fucking hacks who can't draw shit.
Pro-tip to artists: Start charging more for your services if you don't want you works to get over-saturated by these hacks. Also avoid doing generic looks, poses, etc. If it looks generic, then find a way to make it more unique. That way the curry munching thefts don't steal from you. You gonna have to start being more creative than the machines now. If you see the poos using your art & making profits of it without your permission, then lawyer up.
Starjump: At first i thought NovelAI was just the username but i now think he using a AI art generator to make his art cuz nobody can draw over 10,000 pics in 5 months .
the_last_can: It's nearing 30k now, but I've seen an increase in quality over the last few weeks.
Either the wow factor have started to fade making people are more critical on what is worth sharing, or the AI is beginning to get things like hands right more often now.
Violetty: @the_last_can: The technology is unsurprisingly getting exponentially better, no doubt, but it will never replace actual art that was skillfully made by talented artists with time and hard work
the_last_can: @Violetty: I agree, but I don't artists have anything to fear. AI will remain nothing more than a tool, albeit a powerful one.
It lacks true consistency, meaning it would be hard to impossible to use acceptably it in larger mediums like movies, comics and games for example.
