Please consider re-wording so that it#s clear we talk about "two or more manga as the anime's source". It's nothing really familiar to anime only watchers normally.Nanashi_x3 said: ok thanks! I'd be wary of using that show for two reasons : - the characters have been aged up for the remake (they're now in high school) - this assumes the show will have finished airing by November. Given how the original ran for a year, and we have no news about the remake's length, this might be a bit optimistic... |

Hi there, I was hoping I could get some clarification for Item J1. Watch a listed Superhero or Iyashikei themed anime. The instructions say that for any list originating from The Anime Watching Challenges club that I must pull the item I watch from the originating post and not the subsequent posts but the first post in the Iyashikei challenge doesn't have any anime in it. Instead it says to find anime that's tagged as Iyashikei and populate the challenge from there. But the item explanation says I can't pull anime from MAL's iyashikei list if I haven't finished it or started it by March 28th. Help?? Thanks |

I just finished the challenge and wanted to check that everything is correct before posting it to be verified. However, even my very first item (A1) is invalid due to a change from TV to ONA. I did not take a screenshot back then, so how do I prove that I used a - what I thought to be - valid entry at the time? It certainly does not help that I chose to do Taskmaster, otherwise this would not be such a problem... Help / Suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

I've completed my challenge and I'm preparing to hand it in. I did tag restrictions for all of my quests (except K because I didn't have enough levels left to finish it). With the new genre changes I've had these issues: For Quest B I did a comedy restriction. But Fullmetal Alchemist and Hajime no Ippo don't have comedy tags anymore. For Quest D I did a drama restriction, Tokyo Ghoul and it's sequel both held drama tags but don't anymore. I distinctly remember these shows having the correct tags, but I wasn't required to screenshot these shows so I don't have proof. If I hand in my challenge with these tag changes being the only problems, will I still get my legendary title? Should I add a note under these in my final edit so they know what's going on? I've looked at the update/announcement page on the issue, but it only gives information regarding Quests I, J and K in particular, it doesn't mention anything about using tag restrictions for a quest that changed after I completed the items. My gut feeling is that this will be alright, but to be honest I've grinded so much on the challenge I don't want something silly like this stopping me from getting the legendary title or whatnot. |

I'm currently looking to prepare stuff to watch for one of my last quests that are still open which is Quest L. So first I have a question in regards to the Genre/Theme changes on MAL. I'm sure it was answered somewhere but I can't find anymore... For L1 the anime needs to have one genre OR theme, right? I assume it is invalid if it has 1 theme and 1 genre. Which brings me to my second question in regards to that... Does anyone know an anime with a duration of 20 minutes or more that is tagged with Mythology and only that? I found one entry by luck (Yasashii Akuma) and I'll probably sit through it if I have to but I was really wondering if there is any other show with just the Mythology theme and no genre (at least if my assumption with my first question is correct). Although I tried to avoid it I had to check and even all the Hentai would be out of question because they are all Hentai + Mythology. edit: second question is obsolete with the answer below. Thanks. |
